Where Do I Start?
1. First step is to simply make a list of everyone you know with skin. It should have 50 or more people on it. Complete this
step before moving on. Some ideas to get you started on your list: Family, Who's in your cell phone lists, Facebook friends, co-workers, church friends, neighbors. Pretend you are planning your dream wedding..who would you invite?

3. Download the free Great Start App from your App store. Watch the video where it says "Watch me First" :)
4. Get Your Website Set Up & Order Business Cards. Visit www.marykayintouch.com. This is your behind the scenes free website
which gives you access to all things Mary Kay. It runs your entire business including ordering, customers and education. Mary
Kay is one of the MOST tech savvy companies in the world, so take advantage of our incredible Website and Apps!
To Sign up for your personal website. Your clients will be able to shop 24/7 with you.
1. Visit www.marykayintouch.com.
2. Click on Business Tools.
3. Click on Personal Website Manager. Cost is $30 for the entire first year.

Order your business card kit. You can purchase your business card kit by visiting:Visit www.marykayintouch.com
1. Click on the Ordering Tab
2. Click on MKConnections.I recommend the $39.99 kit that includes business cards, a stamper, product labels and a name tag.
5. Create a private Facebook Group where I will support you in hosting your Virtual Business Launch. After your launch, you can
make it your Customer VIP group.
6. How to invite your guests to your Virtual Business Launch... Send the message below out as a private text or message to
everyone on your list you created in #1. DO NOT send in a group message. You will want to make the people you are inviting
feel special, and an individual invite always feels way more special than a mass text. :)
Individual message to send out:
Hey_______! I'm excited & a little nervous to be hosting my first Beauty Bash & launching my new business partnering with
Mary Kay. It will be LIVE on (Day/time of event) and you can join from the comfort of your own home! We will be showing off
some amazing products & doing a free giveaway! Can I save you a "seat"?
And Next.....
7. Set up your Propay account.
You'll want to accept Credit Cards so your clients can pay by Credit Card
1. Visit www.marykayintouch.com.
2. Click on the Ordering Tab
3. Click on Propay
4. Click Sign Up. Sign up for Propay which will give you the ability to take credit cards. Propay is $39.95 for the year.You will
have the option to pay all at once or split into 3 payments.
8. Share the Mary Kay Opportunity
As part of your basic training, you earn your first MK Jewelry for completing 6 sharing opportunities with your Sales Director
(Ashley) in your first 4 weeks. Most New Consultants complete this in their first week!
To schedule this, you pick 6 of the sharpest women (over 18) you know to give their feedback on the Mary Kay opportunity.
The 3 way video chat will be only about 15 mins. I will be sharing some fun facts about Mary Kay with them.

Please put their name and number when you schedule them on my calendar (I have a 5 min video I will send them before our
call) and put your name in the Notes/Comments section so that I will know which consultant is booking them.
Once you have 6 completed, you will earn your Pearl Earrings and Bracelet!!
And Then.....
After you have done the above items, you're ready to move on to our MK Online training!!
9. Become Skin Care & Color Confident
Mary Kay has an amazing training program for all of our skincare products and colors! Complete this training program and you can put the Advanced Skin Care & Color Confident Logo on your Business Cards so everyone will know you are a Skin Care & Color Expert!

2. Click the Products tab.
3. Click Product Central.
4. Click Skin Care OR Color Confident. Once the program opens, the links are at the top of the page in Light Pink.
5. Click a category to begin.
10. Get educated on Business basics at MK University!
Go to www.marykayintouch.com, click on tab Education then MK University. Online training for you to jumpstart your business.
